Have you ever been caught watching Premiere Pro export a file? Well good news because Adobe and NVIDIA have decided to team up once again to help make these programs run faster. “Agentic creation” and “Multimodal workflows”. Those are some pretty big buzzwords coming from both companies. But basically what they want to achieve is making these programs run quicker and have less lag. Which as we all know can happen a lot when exporting files.

One of the first things they will be implementing is faster speeds on the Adobe programs that you use day to day. Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Substance 3D will all be optimized to work with NVIDIA’s new Spark computing technology. This should allow for twice the speed on AI driven tools. Whether that may be masking, color correction or generating. Which as many know we now use many different types of media in our projects. Having files that are slow to render can really hinder your workflow. Allowing you less time to focus on creating and more time to watch your CPU cool down.

Not only will your PC be benefiting from these new changes. But frame.io will also be seeing some major improvements. If you’re a video editor who works with large amounts of files you know how frustrating it can be to find that one shot you need on frame.io. Or having your files take forever to render to the cloud. Adobe has stated that they will be able to see speeds 4-5 times faster when transcoding files on frame.io. As well as reducing search proxy by 80% allowing you to pull larger files and search through clients files easier.

They will also be using NVIDIA’s open source Nemotron Language Models to create chat bots such as Brand Concierge. This will allow businesses to use this bot to generate content using there own company media. There are many more improvements that will come with this collaboration. When Adobe shows more examples of these changes we can hopefully start to see more changes that will help us as creatives.
